Remember the 2 penguins killed in a slip earlier this year?

Wonderful news…The chick raised by the penguin couple that were the only victims of the slip at Pilots Beach in July this year has returned. It has been sighted a number of times in the colony and appears to have settled in as a resident. We expect that it will moult here early next year and maybe settle in to breed next season.
