Albatross Café

Take a break in our superb café and enjoy the best of cuisine at reasonable prices while watching through our huge café windows for the chance to see albatrosses flying overhead.

We serve full breakfast, morning and afternoon tea/coffee, with scones and muffins to make your mouth water. Lunch is wow! Our Seafood Chowder is legendary; our Blue Cod fresh from the sea, hamburgers full to bursting with flavour. All food is made daily, fresh on the premises. Vegetarian dishes a specialty.

Head to the tip of the Otago Peninsula for a taste treat and a lovely afternoon out. Tempt your tummy while you surround yourself with wildlife in its natural environment....or just enjoy the buzz of happy tourists.

Our facilities are great for Groups, from a local club outing to a large busload of adventurous tourists. The Café seats up to 65 people and our separate Education Room is a great glass-walled venue for up to 50 people for a meeting/presentation/AGMwith food to follow. When the sun shines, the outside deck is awesome if you like watching thousands of red billed gulls and other seabirds soaring in the sky!
